Свой самый первый зарубежный визит в качестве президента РФ в 2000 г.  Путин совершил в Северную Корею для встречи с Ким Чен Иром. В результате Ким Чен Ир подписал первое в своей жизни международное соглашение, а в 2001 г. приехал на поезде с ответным визитом в Москву. В 2012 г. Россия простила Северной Корее $10 миллиардов долга (из оставшихся с советских времен $11 миллиардов) и пообещала инвестировать в страну оставшийся миллиард.

Ныне Путину предоставляется уникальная возможность совершить выгодную сделку с Трампом, если только он внесет посильную лепту в давление на Ким Чен Ына, сына и преемника Ким Чен Ира.



На это как бы намекал Трамп в публичном выражении своего разочарования Китаем и в заявлении от 13 мая:

The President has been briefed on the latest missile test by North Korea. With the missile impacting so close to Russian soil – in fact, closer to Russia than to Japan – the President cannot imagine that Russia is pleased.

Но если бы Путин был в состоянии отступиться от главного принципа российской внешней политики о недопустимости критики диктаторских режимов, он бы уже давно сдал Башара Асада. Поэтому можно ожидать, что Ким Чен Ына, уважаемого коллегу по профсоюзу диктаторов, он тоже ни за что не сдаст.



В связи с этим интересным выглядит заявление Рекса Тиллерсона: "Any country that hosts North Korean guest workers, provides any economic or military benefits, or fails to fully implement UN Security Council resolutions is aiding and abetting a dangerous regime."

Говоря про "guest workers", Тиллерсон в курсе, что корейские строители в рабских условиях строят футбольные стадионы в России?

An employee of a North Korean state company that brings workers to Russia told the Observer at a St Petersburg construction site that the men often worked long hours and had to give part of their pay to the regime in Pyongyang to “facilitate the country’s defence”, which includes its nuclear weapons programme.
Tens of thousands of North Korean labourers in Russia work in often “slave-like conditions”, according to Marzuki Darusman, the United Nations special rapporteur on human rights in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The companies that hire them “become complicit in an unacceptable system of forced labour”, he said.

Упомянутый в статье стадион «Зенит Арена» в Петербурге изначально строил «Трансстрой» - компания Олега Дерипаски, хорошего знакомого Пола Манафорта. Однако в июле 2016 контракт с «Трансстроем» был расторгнут и передан ОАО «Метрострой». Не сообщается, кто из них догадался привлечь северокорейских рабочих.

А насчет надавить Путину на Кима и Асада ради расположения Трампа - да в чем проблема? Путин просто опять соврет, мол, надавить согласен, уже давлю и т.п.
