1. Washington Post сообщает, что к судьбоносному решению директора ФБР Коми в июле 2016 самому объявить о результате расследования почтового сервера Клинтон (вместо того, чтобы согласно служебной инструкции, поручить это дело генеральному прокурору и министерству юстиции) его отчасти подтолкнула provokatsiyа - фальшивое письмо, подброшенное российскими спецслужбами.

In the midst of the 2016 presidential primary season, the FBI received a purported Russian intelligence document describing a tacit understanding between the campaign of Hillary Clinton and the Justice Department over the inquiry into whether she intentionally revealed classified information through her use of a private email server.
The Russian document mentioned a supposed email describing how then-Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch had privately assured someone in the Clinton campaign that the email investigation would not push too deeply into the matter — a conversation that if made public would cast doubt on the inquiry’s integrity.
Current and former officials have said that document played a significant role in the July decision by then-FBI Director James B. Comey to announce on his own, without Justice Department involvement, that the investigation was over. 2. Менее удивительную информацию сообщает New York Times: прошлым летом были перехвачены разговоры россиян между собой, в которых они обсуждали, как смогут манипулировать Трампом через Флинна и Манафорта.

American spies collected information last summer revealing that senior Russian intelligence and political officials were discussing how to exert influence over Donald J. Trump through his advisers, according to three current and former American officials familiar with the intelligence.
The conversations focused on Paul Manafort, the Trump campaign chairman at the time, and Michael T. Flynn, a retired general who was advising Mr. Trump, the officials said. Both men had indirect ties to Russian officials, who appeared confident that each could be used to help shape Mr. Trump’s opinions on Russia.
Some Russians boasted about how well they knew Mr. Flynn. Others discussed leveraging their ties to Viktor F. Yanukovych, the deposed president of Ukraine living in exile in Russia, who at one time had worked closely with Mr. Manafort.

Интересные люди Кушнеры. Как наш Леваев. Возникли из ниоткуда (из СССР в те времена, когда капитал оттуда было нельзя вывезти). И очень быстро процвели непонятно на чем.
Например, с Брином плюс-минус понятно, на чем он процвел - революция в айти.
Пример с другой соторны - Ланский (и прочие Бронфманы); тоже понятно - революция в организованной преступности. С голливудскими евреями, стоявшими у истоков Голливуда, понятно. С миллиардером, разбогатевшим на таймшеринге понятно. С олигархами после развала СССР.
А вот с недвижимостью, выросшей с нуля у мутных иммигрантов из СССР, есть все основания подозревать, что инвесторы там в соответствующих погонах.

По легенде дедушка Кушнера - белорусский еврейский партизан, плотник по специальности. Приехал в штаты в 1949 и быстро разбогател.

Charlie expanded his portfolio to around 25,000 apartments and got into commercial real estate, hotels, and banking.
