Шахин была одной из первых, кто поддержал опытного Бена Кардина в его законопроекте об ужесточении санкций в отношении России. Следующая остановка для законопроекта - комиссия по международным отношениям, которая вчера проводила слушания на тему The European Union as a Partner Against Russian Aggression: Sanctions, Security, Democratic Institutions and the Way Forward.

Attacks on the American elections in 2016 which aimed at fueling divisions in American society, undermining trust in our democratic institutions, elevating the candidate he saw as challenging American values, and undermining the candidate he knew would uphold American values in our foreign policy. A combination of hacking, propaganda, human and technical amplification on social media, and passive — and possibly active — coordination with U.S. political actors led to what I believe the FSB assesses as the most successful Russian intelligence operation since the end of the Cold War.

Шахин не первый раз отличается глупостями. В этот раз, показав "рассекреченную" фотографию Президента России и Руководителя телеканал RT, которых раньше вместе никто, разумеется, не видел, она превзошла саму себя.
Что же демонстрирует нам эта фотография?
1. То, что в Российской Федерации женщины стали занимать достойные себя должности. Не номинально, не по разнарядке. А по-настоящему. Женщинам доверяют очень сложные и ранее не имеющие аналогов проекты, и они с ними прекрасно справляются, выводя их на мировой уровень.
2. Что в нашей стране настали времена, когда профессионализм может перевешивать все остальные критерии при отборе кандидатов на ключевые должности. И ни национальность , ни гендерный фактор , ни возраст, ни блат, ни былые заслуги не перевесят главного - квалификации.
3. Ещё фотография бесстыже показывает, что у Симоньян есть огромная харизма. Даже две.

(Насчет женщин Захарова конечно права. В правительстве РФ из 33 министров целых три женщины, а в кабинете Трампа пока только две.)
