Испытания на полигоне

Какие уроки, что полезного было и происходит в ходе сирийской операции для наших Вооружённых Сил? Там несколько составляющих. Первое – это огромная польза для нашего оборонно-промышленного комплекса. Применение новейших образцов оружия позволило понять, как оно работает в боевых условиях, и внести необходимые коррективы в качество этих новейших систем вооружения. Мы и так знали, что это хорошее оружие, работающее, но когда посмотрели их и увидели, как они работают в боевых условиях, – это другая история совершенно. Более того, представители предприятий напрямую выезжали и выезжают на место применения этого оружия, смотрят, как это происходит, вносят коррективы, и не просто там какая-то доводка, а серьёзная, глубокая работа происходит. Это что касается оборонки.
Что касается самих Вооружённых Сил. Можно сказать, что опыт использования наших Вооружённых Сил в боевых условиях, да ещё с применением новейшего оружия, является абсолютно бесценным, без всякого преувеличения говорю. Вы знаете, у нас даже Вооружённые Силы приобрели другое качество. Некоторые подразделения вообще впервые, созданные совсем недавно, используются, и используются очень эффективно.

The Russian Air Force have completed their 20th month of intervene in Syria, which was started on the 30th of September 2015, the Russian warplanes which their number had increased in the last weeks are still committing massacres and killing Syrian people, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to document the death 12087 civilians and fighters from the rebel and Islamic Factions, Fath al-Sham Front (al-Nusra Front formerly) and the “Islamic state” since the dawn of 30th of September 2015 until today the 30th of May 2017, of those who were killed by thousands of airstrikes which targeted several provinces of Syria, and Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 27 persons at least including 8 children and 3 women during the period since the 30th of April 2017 until today the 30th of May 2017, all of them were killed by the Russian airstrikes.
And the casualties of 20 months were:
– 1275 children under the age of eighteen, 732 citizen women over the age of eighteen and 3187 males over the age of eighteen.
– 3451 members of the “Islamic state” organization.
– 3442 fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions, Fath al-Sham Front, the Islamic Turkestan Party and fighters of Arab and foreign nationalities.

He sums up the attackers’ intentions until now in a single Russian word: poligon. A training ground. Even in their most damaging attacks, Yasinsky observes, the hackers could have gone further. They could have destroyed not just the Ministry of Finance’s stored data but its backups too. They probably could have knocked out Ukrenergo’s transmission station for longer or caused permanent, physical harm to the grid, he says—a restraint that American analysts like Assante and Lee have also noted. “They’re still playing with us,” Yasinsky says. Each time, the hackers retreated before accomplishing the maximum possible damage, as if reserving their true capabilities for some future operation.
Many global cybersecurity analysts have come to the same conclusion. Where better to train an army of Kremlin hackers in digital combat than in the no-holds-barred atmosphere of a hot war inside the Kremlin’s sphere of influence? “The gloves are off. This is a place where you can do your worst without retaliation or prosecution,” says Geers, the NATO ambassador. “Ukraine is not France or Germany. A lot of Americans can’t find it on a map, so you can practice there.” (At a meeting of diplomats in April, US secretary of state Rex Tillerson went so far as to ask, “Why should US taxpayers be interested in Ukraine?”)
