Wall Street Journal рассказывает о том, что в июне адвокаты Трампа, нанятые для борьбы с Рашагейтом, советовали отправить Кушнера в отставку, от греха подальше.

Some of President Donald Trump’s lawyers earlier this summer concluded that Jared Kushner should step down as senior White House adviser because of possible legal complications related to a probe of Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election and aired concerns about him to the president, people familiar with the matter said.

White House communications director Hope Hicks has retained a personal attorney, as the special counsel's investigation into the Trump campaign's ties to Russia is expected to heat up this fall.
Hicks, 28, has hired Robert Trout, a highly regarded attorney and founder of the firm Trout Cacheris & Janis, according to multiple sources familiar with the hire. Trout is a veteran of the Justice Department. He is also a former assistant U.S. attorney in Baltimore.

Former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and White House Counsel Donald McGahn have hired Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP partner William Burck to advise them in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, Law360 has learned. McGahn and Priebus have both recently hired Burck, the co-chair of Quinn Emanuel’s white collar practice, according to a person familiar with the hiring, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive White House discussions.

Поводом для этой адвокатской активности считается расследование Мюллером обстоятельств попыток помешать правосудию, но у расследования могут быть и другие цели.

Выступая в феврале 2016 на конференции «Инфофорум-2016», Андрей Крутских сделал интересное заявление.

Крутских Андрей Владимирович (специальный представитель Президента РФ по вопросам международного сотрудничества в области информационной безопасности, Посол Российской Федерации по особым поручениям) заострил свое внимание на схожесть современной международной ситуации с 1945-1948 гг. – времени запуска гонки ядерных вооружений, инициированных руководством США актом применения вооруженными силами США атомного оружия против Японии в 1945 г. Только сегодня, по словам Андрея Владимировича, идет речь об оружии куда более страшном, чем атомное. Если XX век стал веком вызова на развязывание ядерной войны, то в XXI веке превосходящим по силе разрушения станут вызовы на угрозы информационных войн или как их называют на Западе — кибервойн. И это уже, по словам Андрея Владимировича, не алармистские прогнозы возможных сценариев международной ситуации, а реально существующая опасность, от качества реагирования на которую в ближайшие 2 (два!) года будет зависеть суверенитет, экономика и безопасность Российской Федерации.

Надо думать, что эквивалент атомной бомбы для кибервойны в России был разработан, потому что в 2017, при посредничестве Крутских, Путин предложил Трампу дружбу на паритетной основе.

A raft of other military and diplomatic channels opened during the Obama administration’s first-term “reset” would also be restored.
