The articles appeared on InfoWars with a byline credit to RT, but a spokesperson for the Russian broadcaster told BuzzFeed News that InfoWars did not have permission to re-publish its content.

Появление Джилл Стайн на знаменитом ужине в Москве в декабре 2015 (праздновании 10-летия Russia Today) было менее удивительным, чем появление на нем Майкла Флинна. На выборах 2012 канал RT любезно предоставил свою студию для президентских дебатов кандидатов от третьих партий Джилл Стайн и Гари Джонсона.

Если в 2012 Стайн, как кандидат Зеленой партии, набрала 0.36% голосов, то в 2016 уже около 1%. В Мичигане Трамп победил с отрывом в 0.3% в то время, как Стайн набрала 1.1%. В Висконсине Трамп победил с отрывом в 1%, Стайн набрала 1.1%. В Пенсильвании Трамп победил с отрывом в 0.7%, Стайн набрала 0.8%. Таким образом в ключевых штатах ей успешно удалось сыграть роль спойлера, оттянув на себя часть голосов альтернативных левых, недовольных Хиллари Клинтон.
